LA Hearts PI: A benefit for those affected by Typhoon Haiyan

This amazingly unique fundraiser had rare, vintage, and exclusive items up for auction. From signed Kobe Bryant shoes and a Los Angeles Lakers Team signed ball to a $6,000 Ferragamo Fergie Python Handbag. Serious deals were made by those who had the funds—minimum bid on that python handbag was $1,400… I heard the happy winner talking about the steal as she walked out.

Typhoon Haiyan slammed into the Philippines on November 8th with sustained winds in excess of 195 mph and gusts as high as 235mph, making it the strongest cyclone to hit land in recorded history. Although the storm has ended, the region sustained catastrophic damage, killing more than 5,200 people, and leaving hundreds of thousands homeless.

This is one of the most devastating natural disasters that has occurred in our lifetimes. We are more connected globally than we have ever been, so lets lend a hand. It’s easier than ever.

LAHEARTSPI in partnership with RYOT invites you to a fundraiser to benefit those affected by Typhoon Haiyan on Friday, December 13th from 7-9:30pm at Riviera 31 (8555 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048).

Don’t miss incredible raffle prizes and a silent auction items from luxury fashion brands from 7-930pm.
